Does the Focus Center offer the same classes as my school? No. The Focus Center does not have the capacity of a traditional school and therefore cannot provide the same number or type of classes. We offer core subjects and limited electives.

Can I make up credit or get ahead in credits by attending the Focus Center? This depends entirely on how many credits the student has already earned before being referred, the subjects available at the Focus Center, and the amount of work completed. Though not impossible, it is extremely rare for a student to get ahead in credits here.

How long will I be attending the Focus Center? Every student at the Focus Center has been referred by their school. This should have been discussed with administrators from your school, and you should know clearly when you are expected to return. If you are unsure about the length of your stay, please discuss this as soon as possible with Harold and Melody.
